English proberbs


Every culture has a great collection of wise sayings that advice you about how to live your life. They are also called ¨proberbs¨. It´s good to know the common English proberbs because you are going to hear them come up in conversation all the time.If you ever travel to England someone will say to you ,as advice, proberbs like these: 
  • " Two wrongs don´t make one right "
  • " The pen is mightier than the sword "
  • " No man is an island "
  • " People who live in glass houses should not throw stones "
  • " Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst "
  • " Birds of a feather flock together "
  • " There´s no such thing as a free lunch "
  • " If it ain´t broke, don´t fix it "
  • " Easy come, easy go "
  • " Don´t count your chickens before they hatch "
  • " A chain is only as strong as its weakest link "
