My nightmare

Yesterday I had a horrible dream that scared me. I do not know why but I woke up in my dream, in a room very similar to mine, I got up of the bed, it seemed to be my own bed. I opened the room´s door and I went out to a very long and dark corridor, suddenly, the room´s door was closed at one stroke and when I looked to right of the corridor i could see a men without face holding my mum´s and dad´s heads, one in each hand. I began to run, but the corridor was never finishing.

When I woke up I thought ¨Luckily it was only a dream¨.

What are The Punctuation Marks in English Grammar?

Knowing where and when you have to use the punctuation marks can really improve your writing skills.

The period: (.) is placed at the end of a sentence, statements thought to be complete and after many abbreviations.
For example:  I used to go to the market with my brother.

Question mark: is used to indicate a direct question placed at the end of a sentence.
For example: Do you know when are going to be the exams?

Exclamation mark: is used when a person want to express a sudden outcry or add emphasis.
For example: Your son broke my window!

The coma: is used to separate ideas or elements within the estructure of a sentence.
For example: I´m going to buy bananas, apples, pears and some vegetables.

The semicolon: is used to conect independent clauses. It shows a closer relationship between the clauses than a period would show.
For example: John was hurt; he knew that she said it to upset him.

The colon: has two main uses:
* After a word introducing a quotation, an explanation, an example, or a serie.
For example: ¨I´m going to explain what is a library: it´s a place when you can look for books of all kinds.
* Within time expressions. It´s used to separate out the hour and the minute.
For example: It´s 12:30 am.

The dash: there are two kind of dashes: the emdash and the endash.
* The endash is a symbol (-) that is used to connect numbers or to connect elements of a compound adjective.
For example: 1994 - 2045
* The endash is used to indicate a break in thought or sentence structure, to separate two clauses or to introduce a phrase added for emphasis, definition or explanation.
For example: We just wanted to get three birds - but the clerk talked us into four pregnats parakeets.

The hypen: is the same symbol as the dash. Is used between the parts of a compound word or name or between the syllables of a word, especially when divided at the end of a line of text.
For example: back - to - back.

The parentheses: ( () ) are used to contain further thoughts or qualifying remarks.
For example: Matt and Kim (who were actually half brother and sister) have both blue eyes.

The brackets: ( [] ) at the bottom of each definition page, brackets surround a technical description of a word´s origin.

The braces: ( {} ) are used to contain two or more lines of a text or listed items to show that they are considered as a unit. They are not commonplace in most writing.

The apostrophe: is used to indicate the omision of a letter or letters from a word, the possessive case, or the plural of lowercase letters.

Landscape

I wish I could ever have or, at least, visit a cabin like this. I love the nature and the animals that live there, free, without any worries.
In this picture we can see a beautiful landscape full of harm and peace, there is a river that passes just above the cabin and a lot of trees and plants, every green, without any withered plant or tree.
I feel very comforted seeing this picture, it gives me peace. I could be wonderful to go with your friends or with your couple to rest a couples days in a place like this, I´m sure that if you go there, when you come back to your noisy and full of people town, the most probably is that you miss this place.
I know that the owner of that cabin is a very quite and graceful person.

Are cellphones necessary in teenagers´ lifes?

In today´s modern society, many feel as if having a cellphone is a necessity. Every where you go, there is a constant texting and talking on cellphones. Recent studies have shown that the largest group of phone users is teenagers. Teenagers in the past have done just as well  without cellphones, so why do teenagers nowadays require cellphones? Cellphones are not necessary in teenagers´lives because they are distractions, cost up to a fortune, and can be misused in several ways.

Cellphones are becoming more and more developed, with far more abillties and applications than before. Cellphones can now be used for texting, talking, going on Facebook, taking pictures/ videos, playing games, and millions more. Cellphones  are becoming an alternative for computers. Teens are beginning to have cellphones on hand all the time. The average teen uses his/her cellphone for approximately eight hours on a day to day basis. With cellphones being used so much, when do teens have time to focus on school work and their families? Cellphones play a major role as distractions in the typical lives of several teens.

With the increasing number of applications and uses of cellphones, the cost of using them and maintaining is increasing. The average bill of one cellphone comes up to at least 30$ a month. Each application use has a cost. If a cellphone cost approximately 30$ a month to maintain, it would total up to more than 300$ a year. Imagine how many uses 300 dollars could pay for. The money spent on cellphones could be use towards a teenager´s education or another worthy cause. Why spend so much money on cellphones when you could just use your home phone? They are a waste of money.

The most immese disadvantage of cellphones is that they can be misused fairly easily. Cellphones are easy to store in your pocket and are convenient to use on the go. This is why many teenagers use their phones to cheat on their tests, cyberbully other teens, etc. Teenagers with phones know exactly how to function each and every aspect of their phones, from where to store cheat notes, to how to text others without their own number being shown. Cellphones enable teens to get away with such unethical acts. Cellphones are danger threats to teenagers if they are used with wrong intentions.

Cellphones have their many benefits and advantages indeed, but their disadvantages outweigh their good purposes. Teenagers are beginning to live their lives evolved around this latest technology trend, but little do they know that cellphones are leading them to unsatisfying lifes. Cellphones are not a necessity to teenagers because they only play as distractions in their lives, enable them to be unethical citizens, and empty their wallets or the wallets of their parents. Cellphones are the newest technology gadgets leading teenagers to a downfalling life.

Black mirror

In the past ten years, technology has transformed almost every aspect of our lives before we have time to stop and wonder about it. On every desk, in every house and in every palm - a plasma screen, a monitor, a smartphone - a ¨black mirror¨ of our existence in the 21st century.
A lot of things that happen on the serie are just ¨dreams¨ or things that people wish could have in the future but that serie makes you understand the chaos that the present is causing us and what could happen if we continue with all our technological problems and how should not be our future.
The serie just have two seasons of three chapters in each one and one extra christmas chapter published in 2014. The directors told that year that they are going to premier a new season with twelve chapters in 2016.

Doomed

Cut off my wings and come lock me up
Just pull the plug yeah, I've had enough
Tear me to pieces, sell me for parts
You're all vampires so here

You can have my heart
You can have my heart
You can have my heart

The walls are a funeral, I run with ghosts
No hint of movement, no sign of pulse
Only an echo, just skin and bone
Then kick the chair but we, we help tie the rope

You can have my heart
You can have my heart
You can have my heart

So come rain on my parade
Cause I want to feel it
Come shove me over the edge
Cause my head is in overdrive
I'm sorry but it's too late
And it's not worth saving
So come rain on my parade
I think we're doomed
I think we're doomed
And there is no way back

You must of made some kind of mistake
I asked for death, but instead I'm awake
The devil told me "No room for cheats"
I thought I sold my soul, but he kept the receipt

So leave the lights on I’m coming home
It's getting darker but I carry on
The sun won't shine here, it never did
And when it rains, it fucking pours
But I think I like it
And you know that I'm love with the pain
I think I like it

So come rain on my parade
Cause I want to feel it
Come shove me over the edge
Cause my head is in overdrive

I'm sorry but it's too late
And it's not worth saving
So come rain on my parade

I think we're doomed
I think we're doomed
And there is no way back
I think we're doomed
I think we're doomed
And there is no way back

So come rain on my parade
Cause I want to feel it
Come show me over the edge
Cause my head is in overdrive

I'm sorry but it's too late
And it's not worth saving
So come rain on my parade

I think we're doomed
I think we're doomed
And there is no way back
